Quabble Community Guidelines
Our Mission
Quabble provides a safe, inclusive space for members to express their authentic selves, sharing feelings of loneliness, low self-confidence, anxiety, and other mental wellness challenges. We believe a supportive community can make a meaningful difference, allowing members to feel understood and encouraged.
Our mission is to foster an environment where everyone feels valued and heard, creating a culture of empathy, support, and positivity.
Core Values
Empathy
Understand and share the feelings of others.Example: Before responding, consider the experiences shared by others. Rather than saying, “That’s not a big deal,” try: “I can imagine that must feel challenging for you.”
Respect
Treat all members with dignity and kindness, regardless of differences in perspective or experience.Example: Avoid interrupting someone’s story with your own opinions or judgments. Instead, listen and respond with understanding.
Authenticity
Be genuine in your expressions and interactions.Example: Share your true thoughts and experiences instead of posting what you think others want to hear. For instance, “I’m feeling a bit lost right now” can be more impactful than trying to stay positive if that doesn’t reflect how you feel.
Encouragement
Offer support and positivity to fellow members.Example: Instead of simply “liking” a post, leave a comment of encouragement, such as, “You’ve got this! One step at a time.”
Privacy
Respect the confidentiality of shared experiences.Example: If someone shares a personal story, keep it within the Quabble community and don’t share it elsewhere without permission.
